Distribution Agreement for the projects Virtual Theater District (VRML) Project.

Redistribution of artwork produced for, or part of, the Virtual Theater District (VRML) project, with or without modification, is permitted provided that the following conditions are met. These conditions must be met, regardless of where or how they were obtained.

  1. The end-user documentation included with the redistribution, if any, must include the following acknowledgment in a noticable location:
    "This product, installation or show includes copyrighted artwork developed for the Virtual Theater District (VRML) described at http://artscool.cfa.cmu.edu/~hemef/pompeii/"

    The phrase "product, installation or show" may be substituted by a single word being either "product", "installation" or "show", or by the proper name of the product/installation/show itself.

    Alternatively, this acknowledgment may appear in the software itself, rather than the end-user documentation. If so, it must be placed wherever such third-party acknowledgments normally appear.
  2. These materials shall be used exclusively for non-commercial purposes, without exception.

"Virtual Theater District (VRML)" is separate and distinct from a different project named "Virtual Theater District".

THIS SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND ANY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE DISCLAIMED. IN NO EVENT SHALL PUBLICVR, CARNEGIE MELLON UNIVERSITY OR THEIR CONTRIBUTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS OR SERVICES; LOSS OF USE, DATA, OR PROFITS; OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION) HOWEVER CAUSED AND ON ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE) ARISING IN ANY WAY OUT OF THE USE OF THIS SOFTWARE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.
